Editing while on the Season Finale of Bones

I haven't done my editing this week because I worked very long hours on the Season Finale of Bones. It was a fun week and I have one more day left on Tuesday. The entire crew is great to work with and I had fun most of the time.

It was funny seeing the cast because when I saw the star Emily Deschanel this time around my first thought was 'wow she's put on some weight since the last time I saw her.' And all week I stared at her trying to figure out if she let herself go or if there was something else going on. On the last day this week I got confirmation by a conversation that she was having very loudly with one of the other actors that there was something else involved. I'm not going to say what though. I will respect her privacy.

As for me and my writing, I didn't get much work done while on set. I spent a lot of time in front of the camera. And as a result I am all over that episode. I'm the tall black guy in the yellow and blue shirt. And when I wasn't on set I was in holding with 100 very loud people. It took me 2 days before I thought to bring my ear plugs. After that I was able to get a few pages done.

Tomorrow I am going to a Easter Pageant and then hanging with friend afterwards so I might not get much done. But I only have 13 more pages to edit and I can do that in about 6 hours as long as there isn't much rewriting that I have to do. The last 20 pages have been pretty clean though so I suspect that I can finish the first draft of editing tomorrow. Afterwards it just a matter of a final read through and a final gramar check. After that I just wait to get the cover from the designer and I can publish it.

Today also brought the finalization of the excerpt exchange between author Heidi Hall and Lacy Maran with their romantic comedies and 'Fixing Cupid'. I'm hoping that it will be a successful exchange all of the way around.
